A place to be heard

Working in healthcare while navigating eating disorder recovery can feel uniquely complicated. You may spend your days supporting other people while struggling to make space for your own needs. Professional expectations, exposure to diet culture within healthcare settings, conversations about weight and health, and the pressure to appear as though you have everything together can make recovery feel especially isolating.

This virtual eating disorder process group offers a supportive, compassionate, and confidential space for healthcare professionals who are navigating eating disorder recovery or working toward a more peaceful relationship with food and their bodies.

The group is open to doctors, nurses, therapists, social workers, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals located in Massachusetts and Washington. You do not need to have reached a particular stage of recovery to participate. The group is designed to meet members with curiosity, respect, and compassion wherever they are in the process.
