Insurance Information
I am an out-of-network provider and do not accept insurance. Some insurance plans will provide partial or full reimbursement for out-of-network services when you submit paperwork called a Superbill. I can provide this for you to submit to your insurance by request.
I have partnered with Mentaya to help you use your out-of-network benefits to save money on therapy. Use this tool below to see if you qualify for reimbursement for my services.
Questions to ask your insurance company:
Do I have out-of-network benefits? If so, how much does my policy cover if I see an out-of-network provider?
Does my current policy have a deductible? What is the amount, how much has been met this year, and when does my policy renew?
Is there a limit to how many therapy sessions I can attend in a year? If so, how many?
Do you cover extended sessions? What are the add on codes?
Before meeting with an out-of-network provider, do I need to get prior authorization or do you need any information on the therapist?
How do I submit a claim for my individual therapy sessions? What specific information do I need?

If we determine we’re a good fit during the consultation call, then we will schedule our first session, called an “intake session” which is fancy way of saying a "get to know you" session.
Before we meet for the intake session, I’ll ask you to fill out some paperwork that will help me get to know more about you. -
Short answer: it depends!
Longer answer: I meet with the majority of my clients weekly or every-other-week. I recommend when possible that we meet weekly for at least the first 4 weeks to help establish a good foundation. That being said, we'll chat about how often sessions should happen to match what works best for you. And as we go along, we'll keep checking in to make sure it's still working for you and your needs.
When it comes to how long you'll be in therapy, it's all about what works best for YOU. Some clients are here to create a long-term therapeutic relationship and others might prefer a more short-term approach. -
I see teens 13+ and adult individual clients.

I provide therapy on an outpatient basis so my therapy practice is not a fit for those in active crisis. Additionally, I do not see folks actively struggling with substance abuse, experiencing hallucinations, or children younger than 12.
